Tonight, on November 29 Enterprise Estonia, e-Residency and Tallinn Music Week festival will host the official opening party of Slush, Enter e-Estonia. Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid will join the celebration. Taking place in the three-chambered heart of the Helsinki nightlife – Kuudes Linja, Kaiku and Stidilä complex – the party marks the 2 nd birthday of e-Residency and features the brightest tech companies and the best cuisine from Estonia and the most exciting music from both sides of the Gulf of Finland.
The doors of the clubs will open for all Slush Pass owners at 10pm. President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid will address guests at the opening ceremony in the main hall of Kaiku club. Celebrating their second birthday, the e-Residency team will then greet all the present and future global citizens at networking and cake tasting in Stidilä’s main room.
Throughout the night, there’s plenty of action across the halls presenting the smartest bits and pieces of Estonian tech scene – discovering your best place to live and work at Teleport Lounge, finding out what a sTARTUp city – represented by Tartu City, Mooncascade, SprayPrinter, and Tartu Science Park – is all about and figuring out with Lingvist how AI can be harnessed to learn a new language. Funding and trading engine for growth companies, Funderbeam will demonstrate how to stand out in the vast ocean of CRM in Kuudes Linja, whilst sales management tool Pipedrive will open their Deal Making Bar in Kaiku club.
The night’s music programme features exciting live acts from both sides of the Gulf of Finland – godfathers of Estonian indie, Röövel Ööbik, electropop act NOËP and post-pop producer-vocalist Mart Avi from Estonia; the reverend of Finnish cosmic rock and electronica, Timo Kaukalampi, rapper and producer Noah Kin and one-man indie-cabaret Melting Hearts from Finland. The rhythm of the night will also be provided by the central characters in Helsinki’s club scene – Lil’ Tony, Joose Berglund, Sirkku Haikonen, Timo Kaukolampi, Feniks Willamo, complemented by Estonia’s finest DJs Raul Saaremets, Sander Mölder and Liisi Voolaid.
